Dairyland Visitor Attraction Closes Amid Financial Struggles

Dairyland, the popular family adventure park at Tresillian Barton near Newquay, Cornwall, closed its doors on November 3rd, citing “significant losses” as the cause. The current owners, who acquired Dairyland in 2019, faced mounting financial challenges, including impacts from the Covid-19 pandemic and rising operating costs, which made the park’s continued operation unsustainable.

In a reassuring update, Dairyland announced that all its animals would be rehomed in new locations where “they will be loved and treasured.” Dairyland had been a favorite for families, offering a mix of educational and recreational experiences with a rural theme. The park’s closure marks the end of an era for a beloved local attraction, with fans across Cornwall and beyond saddened by the news.
