St Ive’s Bay is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the UK and provide stunning views and provide an excellent space to exercise pets. But to be fair to everyone who uses them, it’s important to know the laws around restrictions. Many Cornish beaches have high-season bans on dogs but there are a few that welcome pets throughout the year.
Seasonally Restricted St Ives Beaches
Between 1st October to 14th May, all St Ives Bay beaches are open to dogs, no restrictions. Outside these dates, access depends on the beach.
From 15th May to 30th September, dog access is not allowed between 10am and 6pm.

Dog Friendly with Dogs allowed all year round. No restrictions.
Hayle Towans Beach
The closest section of the beach to Hayle which can be accessed by foot from many locations. No dogs allowed between 1st July and 31st August between 10am and 6pm.
